Three Chinese astronauts above the country space station, which are currently being built, have succeeded in entering the lab module on Monday, the day after the space laboratory was launched, the official media reported.
China launched a space laboratory called Woipian on Sunday, sending the largest spaceship in the country to the Earth’s orbit to be part of the space station called Tiangong which is currently being built.
The Wentian module is docked with the front port of the space station in the early days of Monday after entering the planned orbit.
This is the first time two space aircraft as high as 20 tons of China have held meetings and docking in orbit, and also the first time the meeting and docking rooms were carried out during the in-ORbit astronauts at the space station, China was manned by the space agency, (CMSA) told the media to the media official. After Docking, three astronauts who built space stations entering the laboratory, the Xinhua news agency reported.
In the coming weeks, Wentian will be reposed by robot equipment from the Docking Port forward to the lateral port, where he will remain and prepare for long-term operations, the mission planner said. The new lab module will function well as a reserve of the core module and as a strong scientific experimental platform, reported by China Daily managed by the government.
The laboratory, which is the size of a subway car, is the toughest single cabin space aircraft in the world’s orbit, according to Liu Gang, Deputy Head of Space Space System Designer of the Chinese Space Program. The Wentian Module consists of Work Cabin, Airlock Cabin and Resource Cabin, Xinhua report.
The construction of the Chinese Tiangong Space Station is expected to be completed this year. This will then evolve from the structure of a single module to a national space space laboratory with three core modules called Tianhe, and a laboratory module called Wentian and Mentipian.
The Tianhe Module was launched in April 2021, and the Mentian module will be launched in October this year. Then, the Wentian module will meet and anchor with a combination of space stations, according to the scheduled procedure.
Three astronauts sent to orbit on June 5 will help collect modules in their six -month space mission. As long as they live in orbit, they will also watch the Tianzhou-5 cargo ships and Shenzhou-15 Crewed Spaceship Dock with the core module.
Then, they will live and work with the next batch astronaut before returning to earth. Once ready, China’s low-flying space station will be the only country that has space stations. Russian International Space Station (ISS) is a collaborative project from several countries.
China Space Station (CSS) is also expected to be a competitor for ISS built by Russia. Observers say CSS can be the only space station to remain in the orbit as soon as ISS retires in the coming years.
The significant features of the space station that are being built in China are two robot arms, especially the long ones where the US previously expressed his concern over its ability to reach objects including satellites from space. The previous 10 meter arm won and moved the Tianzhou-2 20 ton cargo ship in the test, according to China Manned Space Engineering Office (CMSEO).
