OnePlus threw a warning slider in its future mainstay – OnePlus 10T. Although this step has created some controversy, it is not one without reason. In an interview with The Verge, Head of OnePlus Designer Hope Liu revealed why the company decided to eliminate fans’ favorite elements.
According to Liu, the warning slider is too large to be installed on OnePlus 10T, and disposing it is necessary to make enough internal space for other components such as “high watt charging, large battery capacity, and better antenna signals.”
Some people will argue that the warning slider is a small switch, so OnePlus can accommodate it at 10T. However, Liu explained to The Verge that “While the warning slider seems to be a very small component, it actually has a relatively large impact on the motherboard area of the device – taking 30 mm².”
The telephone maker must enter two “charging pumps” in OnePlus 10T compared to one in 10 Pro who fill 80W. It is reported that 10T can exercise higher fast charging 150W.
The company also prioritizes faster network speeds. OnePlus 10T includes an antenna system with 15 separate antennas that help increase connectivity when holding the phone horizontally.
“To ensure OnePlus 10T gives in the area that we know the most valuable to our users … While maintaining a warning slider, we have to pile up the device motherboard, which will make the device thicker,” Liu said.
No Hasselblad Camera Branding
OnePlus also shares 10T official images with publications (see above), and other important negligence is the lack of Hasselblad camera branding. OnePlus started its partnership with last year’s camera maker, starting with OnePlus 9 Pro. OnePlus 10 Pro also displays camera software that is set by Hasselblad.
According to Liu, 10T jumped over Hasselblad branding because the company “wanted to offer the best performance of the best performance smartphone at the price of the device chosen.” Does that mean OnePlus 10T will be cheaper than 10 Pro? We have to wait and watch.
Which said, the company had confirmed that OnePlus 10T would display the triple camera system behind it led by the Sony IMX766 Sony Sensor. Delivering the 50MP Main OnePlus 10 T shooter is an ultrawide camera with a view of 119.9 ° and a macro camera.
